Aninterdisciplinary group ofscholars and practitioners analyse multi-variegated, cross-border activities in which non-state actors engage through a single conceptual lens. STUART S. BROWN Professor of International Relations at the Maxwell Schoolof Syracuse University, USA. He specializes in international macroeconomics and emerging markets and has published widely on the transition economies of Eastern Europe.
