There are currently 3.5 billion mobile phones in the world and mobile information technologies permeate all aspects of life. This book explores how mobile technologies and information work shape each other. Most writings do not consider how information work increasingly relies on mobile services; this book seeks to address this imbalance. CARSTEN SORENSEN is a senior lecturer in Information Systems and Innovation in the Department of Management at The London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. He has studied enterprise mobility since 2001 (mobility.lse.ac.uk), managed research projects since 1990, published broadly within Information Systems, and consulted since 1989.
