While developments in quality assurance are well known in some countries, limited research has been undertaken in Asia. Higher education in Asia has witnessed growth. Asian higher education is also contributing significantly to international education which is benefited by many developed countries. In recent years, governments in Asia have made significant investment with the aim to create education hubs and to ensure that higher education is internationally competitive.
