An historic of TLM method leads to the different 2D and 3D nodes currently used. The scattering matrices are determined, dispersion is studied. The propagation in open space and absorbing boundary conditions are described.How to include the coupling between thin wires and electromagnetic waves and how to include passive and active components is an important part of the book. A matrix formulation of TLM method is given allowing a rigorous simulation of propagationin a dispersive environment.
