Microprocessor theory and applications with 68000/68020 and Pentium
Rafiquzzaman, Mohamed
This book, which evolved from classroom notes developed for three microprocessor courses taught at California State Poly University, presents the fundamental concepts of assembly language programming and system design for typical microprocessors, such as the Motorola MC 68000/MC 68020 and Intel Pentium. This self-contained book includes a number of basic topics and assumes a basic digital logic background. The author has chosen to emphasize the characteristics and principles common to typical microprocessors. He demonstrates the basic microcomputer interfacing techniques via examples using the simplest possible devices such as switches, LEDs, A/D converters, hexadecimal keyboard, and seven-segment displays.
