Overholt, Ed.D., has over 30 years of teaching experience and is currently Professor of Education at California State University, Chico, where he specializes in mathematics education for both practicing and prospective teachers. He is also the co-author of the Jossey-Bass Teacher book Math Stories forProblem Solving Success, 2nd ed. (3/08). Laurie Kincheloe has a B.A. in Mathematics and an M.A. in Mathematics Education from California State University, Chico. She taught high school mathematics for 12 years and is presently teaching mathematics at Butte College in Northern California. She has worked with K 12 students, parents, and teachers as a Family Math Coordinator and as a mentor teacher. She teaches concepts in mathematics to preservice elementary teachers and has coordinated service learning projects connecting high school and college students with elementary students through mathematics
