The goal of this work is to show how the characteristic structure of metallicpotassium leads to the explanation of all the thirty anomalous effects described in the paper reprints published until 2002. Using potassium as an example,this work presents a unique approach to the properties of metals, generating a knowledge which can be applied to similar materials. The author has an eminent position in his field, with a major effect named after him.
