Legitimization and Framework of Decisions on Prioritization in Medicine

Resource scarcity combined with both an increasing supply of innovations and rising demand for health care is leading to growing pressure on decision-making processes in health systems. This raises questions regarding the ways in which limited health care resources may be allocated to produce optimal outcomes.
