Perovskite Metal Oxides: Synthesis, Properties and Applications provides a brief overview of the topic, the synthesis of various types of perovskites, their properties, characterisation and application. Perovskite metal oxides can be prepared by different techniques i.e., solid state reaction technique, ball milling, chemical route (sol gel, co-precipitation, etc.). The functionality of perovskite metal oxides changes with the preparation methods by fabricating the stoichiometric ratio of A and B cations and controlling desirable shape and size of the particles through functionalization by chemical treatment. The structure and microstructure of perovskites are a powerful method to analyze the geometrical arrangements of the constituents, orientation, and size of the grains. All of these techniques are included in the book. Perovskite Metal Oxides: Synthesis, Properties and Applications review the applications of this category of materials for photovoltaics, electronics, biomedical, fuel cell, photocatalyst, sensor, energy storage and catalysis. The primary emphasis of this book is on the processing techniques of perovskite metal oxides with a focus on low-cost and high-efficiency methods including various properties and probable applications in academia and industry. Provides an overview of perovskite metal oxides with an emphasis on synthesis, fabrication and characterization methods Discusses strategies to improve the functionality of perovskite metal oxide materials including through chemical methods and controlling the size, shape and structure of the materials Reviews the applications of perovskite metal oxides in energy conversion and storage, sensing, and electronics INDICE: Section 1: Introduction to Perovskite Metal Oxides 1.
