Education and the reproduction of capital: neoliberal knowledge and counterstrategies

The volume is a reflection on the specific context of neoliberal capitalism and it's impact on education. The chapters move beyond establishing the linkages between neoliberalism and education. They establish the intersectionality ofstate, capital and education and engage with possibilities of transcending the onslaught of capital. Cutting across different chapters there is an analysisof how capital mutilates the educational structures, shapes the discourses tofurther its own interests and is constantly engaged in thwarting possibilities of opposition. Despite this offensive of capital possibilities of resistanceremain.
