Analyzing the relationship between digital technologies and society this bookexplores a wide range of complex social issues emerging in a new digital space. PHILLIP KALANTZIS-COPE Teaching Fellow at The New School for General Studies, and a PhD candidate in the Department of Political of the New School for Social Research in New York City, USA. He is a board member of the International Journal of Technology, Knowledge and Society, and founding editor of the International Journal on the Image. KARIM GHERAB-MARTÍN theoretical physicist andPhD in Philosophy of Science and Technology. He has taught at Harvard University, Universidad Autónoma in Madrid, University of the Basque Country in Bilbao, and San Pablo CEU University. He has worked as IT consultant in Spain and Latin America, and written strategic reports on digital libraries for the Government of Madrid.
