Applications of Nanobiotechnology for Neglected Tropical Diseases provides recent advances on nanobiotechnology intend for reducing the global disease burden of the NTD. It explores the application of nanotechnology on development of safe, effective and reliable tools to prevent, diagnose and treat NTD. Nanobiotechnology for Neglected Tropical Diseases has a multidisciplinary content, exploring knowledge of biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, material sciences, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, etc. It is divided into three main Parts, namely: nano-based approaches for prevention, nano-diagnostics and detection, and nanotherapeutics. A fourth Part is dedicated to other approaches against NTD. Within each Part, chapters exploring a number of applications are presented. Remarkably, the overall Book content encompasses novel technologies from basic research to patient-oriented investigation A strong addition to immunology portfolio, strengthening our position in this key growth area of neglected tropical diseasesSupports the strategy to publish more content on applications, from read this to do this, exploring diverse topics on nano-based approaches to prevent, diagnose and treat NTDAligns with related titles, connecting fundamental research with applications in biotechnology INDICE: 1.
