This book brings together abridged ICC (International Color Consortium) whitepapers and previously unpublished material providing comprehensive guidelinesto implementing effective colour management using the ICC profile format. Thebook is split into four parts, starting with an introductory section whereby an overview of colour management in applications and the role of ICC profiles in a colour reproduction system is given. The next section is on measurement and characterization, presenting user guidelines on inter-instrument agreement in colour measurement, device characterization methods and measurement issues for inkjet printing.
