Energy security in the era of climate change: the Asia-Pacific experience
Leading scholars assess the transformations in energy security policy that flow from recognition of global climate change. They explore through case studies the key policy responses formulated in the Asia-Pacific and identify potential synergies between energy policy and climate mitigation efforts. LUCA ANCESCHI is Lecturer in International Relations at La Trobe University, Australia. His principal areas of research are the international politics of post-Soviet Central Asia. His publications include 'Turkmenistan's Foreign Policy: Positive Neutrality and the Consolidation of the Turkmen Regime'. JONATHAN SYMONS teaches International Relations and Environmental Politics at Lingnan University, Hong Kong, China. His research interests include the politics and ethics of climate change, energy security and geo-engineering, processes ofinternational norm change and theories of political and sociological legitimacy.
