This book addresses theoretical and practical aspects related to anxiety disorders in adults and children, providing both up-to-date information about these conditions and evidence-based clinical protocols designed in an integrated framework of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). While there are many works dealing with anxiety disorders and their treatment, there are few available books dealing specifically with the REBT treatment of anxiety disorders, and few works have integrated REBT approaches into more general CBT frameworks. In addition, it provides extended treatment protocols which have already been tested in randomized control trials, thus becoming a valuable resource for practitioners. The book also introduces novel treatment approaches, incorporating new technologies (i.e., virtual reality) and using internet-based therapy platforms. ?
