While a number of books exist on financial modeling, including corporate modeling, few walk readers through the full process of constructing a fully dynamic corporate valuation model in a step-by-step manner. Many of the existing texts either fall short of providing all of the technical instructions or fail togo into enough detail on the financial underpinnings of a robust model. Corporate Valuation Modeling: A Step-By-Step Guide will take participants through detailed instructions and explanations to creating a powerful corporate valuation model. The book will be conceptually laid out, with each chapter discussingthe theory of the concept, followed by Model Builder instructions that informusers of every step necessary to create the template model. Also, many chapters will include a validation section that shows techniques and implementationsthat the user can employ to make sure the model is working properly. Finally,a Tool Box section will be at the end of each chapter to assist readers who may be less skilled in Excel techniques and functions. Included with the model will be the final, complete model on CD-ROM that users will have constructed after following all of the Model Builder sections.
